Aug. 28—Germantown High’s girls swim team dominated the Parker Relays on Saturday.
The Warhawks won nine of 11 events to easily win the eight-team event with 428 points. Janesville Craig was second with 370 and host Parker third with 322.
Germantown set six meet records and finished first or second in all 11 events.
Craig’s Izzy Walter, Dakota Reece, Kadence Woods and Ally Donagan won both the 850 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay events.
Parker’s top finish came in the 300 backstroke where the team of Samantha Schumacher, Isabelle Barger, Ella Heimler and Tadyn McCann were second.
“Overall, we consistently placed fourth and fifth or higher,” Parker assistant coach Erin Jensen said. “We swam really well for how tired the girls are. Two-a-days and two meets this week has been a lot.”
