Decision day is here for four-star linebacker Moses Walker. The top-rated recruit in the state of New York announced this week he will be making his official commitment announcement on Thursday evening, with Penn State in the final running in a head-to-head recruiting battle with another Big Ten East program.

Walker will choose between Penn State and Rutgers. There is no question Walker would be a great addition to an already loaded Class of 2022 for the Nittany Lions. However, the crystal ball predictions on 247 Sports are favoring Rutgers as Walker’s decision arrives. And given how many unofficial visits Walker has made to Rutgers, it certainly feels as though Penn State is up against the odds in this particular recruiting battle.

Walker made an official visit to Penn State on June 25. Earlier in the month, Walker made an unofficial visit to Rutgers as his first visit once the NCAA lifted the extended dead period. USC had previously been considered to be in the running, but it looks like the Trojans are in the rearview mirror.
