Running back La’Darius Jefferson started his career at Michigan State. Now, he’s not too far away, now playing in Kalamazoo for Western Michigan. It turns out that if you are once a Spartan, you are always a Spartan.

On Saturday, Jefferson scored his first touchdown of the season on the road against Michigan and he appeared to hit the Wolverines crowd with a Paul Bunyan celebration. For those who don’t know, the Paul Bunyan trophy is given to the winner of the Michigan vs. Michigan State game each year.
