Tigers lineup: TBA.

Game notes: The Tigers finish the series against a familiar face in Berrios. Several of Detroit’s likely starters saw the right-hander during his six seasons with the Minnesota Twins; Miguel Cabrera is batting .200 in 15 at-bats, Jeimer Candelario .091 in 11 at-bats and Jonathan Schoop .167 in 18 at-bats. Akil Baddoo hasn’t seen Berrios as much but has two home runs in three at-bats vs. Berrios, and Harold Castro is batting .625 in eight ABs. Over 10 starts vs. the Tigers, Berrios is 4-2 with a 5.96 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 54 innings. Boyd is making his first start since June 14 and has seen only some of the Blue Jays core starters (Marcus Semien, Teoscar Hernandez, Randal Grichuk and Lourdes Gurriel Jr.) for a total of 22 at-bats combined. After the series, the Tigers host the Twins and the Jays head back home to play the Orioles.
