Game notes: The Tigers were able to split yesterday’s doubleheader and now end the four-game series with a Sunday matinee. Like the previous days, there is a strong chance of rain in Detroit. Skubal is making his fifth start (21⅓ innings) of the month, pitching to a 3.74 ERA in June. Odorizzi is also having a nice June, with a 3.18 ERA over 17 innings in four starts.
