The Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers were able to get together to swing a huge deal at the deadline when they acquired Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Andre Drummond. All they had to give up was future Hall of Famer James Harden as well as Paul Millsap.

Time will tell the winner of the trade in the future, but the deal looks like a potentially great one for Brooklyn considering Simmons’ skill set and how he can help the Nets as they move forward. His elite defense and playmaking will do wonders for Brooklyn especially when Kevin Durant returns from his injury.

With that being said, former Philadelphia teammate Danny Green has some questions about whether Simmons even gets along with Curry and Drummond. Simmons played with Curry in the 2020-21 season where he helped Curry have a big season while Drummond was an offseason addition for Philadelphia and he did not get on the court with Simmons.

Green questioned Simmons’ relationships with his new teammates on his podcast, “Inside the Green Room”:

First, let’s break that down. Interesting dynamic of how things went down. Interesting dynamic of who went with him. I haven’t had a chance to talk to those guys yet, but I know they weren’t on the most cordial terms when he was in Philly with Drum and Seth. So I wonder how that relationship is now. I haven’t had a chance to talk to them.

Curry and Drummond have already played in some games for the Nets and they have been helping out on the floor. It will be interesting to see the dynamic between Simmons and those two once he does return considering all of the drama that went on in Philadelphia.
