Former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan has signed with AEW, under his real name Bryan Danielson.

Danielson made his debut at the All Out pay-per-view, appearing after Kenny Omega’s successful AEW World Championship defence against Christian.

He appeared using a remised version of his ‘Flight of the Valkyries’ theme and assisted Christian and Jurassic Express following an attack from The Elite.

But Danielson wasn’t the only former WWE Superstar to make their debut at All Out. Straight after Omega’s match, former NXT Champion Adam Cole also made his debut.

Cole joined Omega and The Young Bucks in The Elite, who he was previously aligned with before joining WWE.

The show also had the debut of the former Ruby Riott, now known as Ruby Soho, who was the mystery entrant in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale.

Danielson was last seen in WWE in March when he lost a Universal title match to Roman Reigns. The stipulation was that if he lost he’d have to leave the SmackDown brand.

Following his defeat to Reigns, Danielson was moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website and his contract was reported to have expired.

His arrival in AEW was teased by CM Punk on Dynamite last month, after the crowd chanted “Yes! Yes! Yes!” during an in-ring segment.

Punk responded: “That’s somebody else’s shtick and you might just need to be a little bit more patient, okay?”

The debuts of Danielson, Cole, and Soho come just weeks after Punk signed with the company, seven years after leaving WWE.
