Who is in the final?
Brentford are hoping to make it into the Premier League for the very first time, but also the first time in the top tier since the 1946-47 season. The West London team, managed by Dane Thomas Frank, finished third in the league on 87 points – four points off automatic promotion but seven ahead of their opponents Swansea City.
Swansea, on the other hand, are hoping to return to the Premier League for the first time since being relegated in 2017-18. They previously spent several seasons in the top flight, winning the League Cup in that time.
What is our prediction?
There was not a great deal to separate the two teams in their two most recent encounters, with both matches this season ending in 1-1 draws. The teams met in the play-offs last season, too, a stage earlier and Brentford won 3-2 on aggregate before losing to Fulham at Wembley.
