With Wisconsin’s regular season coming to a close in disappointing fashion, the Badgers now look ahead to a bowl game appearance.

CBS Sports released their latest bowl projections on Monday, with Wisconsin matched up against an SEC opponent. CBS had the Badgers taking on Kentucky in the Outback Bowl, a game scheduled for January 1.

The Outback Bowl would take place at Raymond James Stadium in Florida. Wisconsin hasn’t appeared in the Outback Bowl since 2015, when they defeated Auburn 34-31 in an overtime thriller.

The Badgers and Wildcats have only met once in the history of the two programs, with that game coming in 1984 and ending in a Kentucky win.
