ATLANTA – The Milwaukee Bucks will attempt to clinch their first berth in the NBA Finals since 1974 without Giannis Antetokounmpo, as the team ruled the two-time league most valuable player out for Game 6 at State Farm Arena on Saturday night.
Antetokounmpo had previously been listed as doubtful for the game.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young will return after missing the last two games with bone bruise in his right foot. Atlanta won Game 4, tying the series in the same game that sidelined Antetokounmpo hyperextended his left knee.
The Bucks won Game 5 without Antetokounmpo, taking a 3-2 series lead. Milwaukee can close out the series and advance to face the Phoenix Suns with a victory on Saturday. Young is averaging 29.8 points and 9.5 assists in the postseason.
