Having joined Georgetown’s program last year, Chudier Bile eventually became a Hoya stalwart, finishing 2020-21 with 10.2 points and five rebounds in 26 games (15 starts). The Denver resident saved his best for last, logging at least 15 points in nine of his team’s final 15 contests, starting 1.30.21.

With last season basically a redux – the NCAA has granted another year of eligibility for all players given the calamity Covid-19 has wrought – Bile, a senior, had the option to return for another campaign on The Hilltop. Some Hoya fans, given his inside-out playing ability desired their favorite team to benefit from Bile again.

Not. Gonna. Happen.

Yesterday evening, Bile issued a tweet dashing those dreams:

What are next steps for Georgetown, which must adjust to the loss of Bile? Premium Court touches upon that.

Good luck Chudier! The Hoya Nation appreciates you big time!
