Gov. Mifflin sophomore Tyler Minick hit a three-run double in a 5-4 win over Wilson in the Berks League championship game. Minick also went 2-for-3 with a double and scored a run in a 5-4 victory over Muhlenberg in the semifinals.
Boys lacrosse
Wilson junior goalie Brad Skipper had three saves as the Bulldogs beat Manheim Township 8-4 in a District 3 Class 3A quarterfinal, holding the Blue Streaks to their lowest scoring total of the season.
Girls lacrosse
Twin Valley junior Emma Raines had seven goals and an assist in a 20-4 victory over Kennard-Dale in a District 3 Class 2A quarterfinal.
Softball
Twin Valley senior Sofia Palyan pitched a one-hit shutout in a 5-0 win over Daniel Boone, leading the Raiders to their second straight Berks League title.
Boys track
Wyomissing senior Jason Gartner finished second in the 300 hurdles, was part of a first-place 400 relay and a second-place 1600 relay to help the Spartans win the District 3 Class 2A team championship.
Girls track
Wilson senior Madi Herb won the 300 hurdles, was part of a second-place 3200 relay and a third-place 1600 relay to help the Bulldogs capture the District 3 Class 3A team championship.
Boys volleyball
Brandywine Heights senior Elijah Ruppert had 15 kills in a 3-2 victory over Daniel Boone in the District 3 Class 2A first round.
Boys tennis
The Conrad Weiser doubles team of Mark Yazemboski and Aaron Pearson won matches against Juniata and Quaker Valley to help the Scouts advance to the PIAA Class 2A semifinals.
