Former University of Tennessee baseball player Andre Lipcius has been named the Bonnell’s Best SeaWolves Player of the Week.
During his first week with the Erie SeaWolves, Lipcius recorded a batting average of .333 and totaled one double, two home runs and eight RBIs.
The former Vol was assigned to Erie on May 31. Located in Erie, Pennsylvania, the SeaWolves compete in Minor League Baseball as a member of the Double-A Northeast’s Southwest Division.
Lipcius played for Tennessee from 2017-19. He was selected in third round (No. 83 overall) by Detroit in the 2019 MLB draft.
Lipcius played at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Virginia.
