We are just a few days away from Alabama’s epic matchup in the SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Ahead of the contest, I thought we could take a look at Alabama’s all-time record against Georiga. Let’s dive right in!

Alabama and Georgia first met all the way back in November of 1895. The Bulldogs easily handled the Tide 30-6.

Georgia owned the first part of the series, winning nine of the first sixteen contests, while Alabama won just four. The two schools also settled for three ties during that stretch.

The Tide and Bulldogs have faced off three times in Atlanta for the SEC Championship with Alabama winning each matchup.

In January of 2018, the Tide and Bulldogs faced off for the College Football National Championship. Alabama took the contest in overtime thanks to Tua Tagovailoa’s and DeVonta Smith’s famous 2nd and 26 touchdown connection.

Overall, Alabama and Georgia have met a total of 70 times throughout their history and Alabama holds a commanding 41-25-4 series advantage.

This Saturday’s contest should be one for the ages as Alabama is battling for a spot in the playoffs while Georgia is securely in.
