For college basketball fans, brackets and the month of March are synonymous. It’s the best time of year in hoops and one that can bring either joy or heartbreak.

The Colorado Buffaloes are hoping for the former as they’re set to play in their first NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament since 2013. Led by fifth-year senior Mya Hollingshed, the Buffs will kick things off on Friday as a No. 7 seed matching up with No. 10 Creighton. A Buffs’ win would then pin them up against either No. 2 Iowa or No. 15 Illinois State in the round of 32.
