The 2021 NFL draft has wrapped up, and now the real fun begins with the New Orleans Saints elbowing their way into the undrafted free agent market. With 22 vacant roster spots to fill, they’ll be active recruiters in working to fill their roster up to its 90-man capacity.

Nothing is official until the team confirms it, but here’s our live tracker of the undrafted rookies reportedly coming to New Orleans. This will be updated frequently in the hours and days ahead, so check back often.

DB Trill Williams The Saints quickly added Syracuse defensive back Atrilleon “Trill” Williams, per his alma mater at Archbishop Stepinac High School. Williams appeared in 28 games and can play multiple positions in the secondary. He also won the triple crown by scoring touchdowns off of a blocked bunt, recovered fumble, and interception.

TE Dylan Soehner, Iowa State Here’s a big one: the Saints are bringing in Iowa State blocking tight end Dylan Soehner, a 6-foot-7 and 270 pound mammoth. He’ll compete right away with Nick Vannett, Garrett Griffin, and Ethan Wolf for a spot on the depth chart behind Adam Trautman.

P Nolan Cooney, Syracuse There’s going to be a training camp battle between two great college punters! The Saints are bringing in Syracuse’s Nolan Cooney to push Penn State alum Blake Gillikin, who spent his rookie year interning under Thomas Morstead. Cooney led the nation in just about every punting stat you can imagine in 2020.
