Apr. 4—Cole Walker

School: Wilkes-Barre Area

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

Finished the season averaging 15.9 points per game, good enough for seventh overall in the WVC this year. Was effective taking the ball to the basket, and when asked can play with his back to the rim. Scored a season-high 28 points on opening night. Started his career playing at Meyers, ended it with his last two seasons playing for the Wolfpack.

Mason Mendygral

School: Valley West

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

His presence on the floor was enough to create opportunities for his other teammates on the floor. Led the Spartans in just about every offensive category. Averaged 17.2 points per game, shot 78.3% from the foul line and made 31 3-pointers. Scored a season-high 26 points against Pittston Area.

Ryan Harder

School: Tunkhannock

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Proved to be a dependable threat on the offensive end of the floor. Finished second in the WVC in scoring averaging 19.0 points per game. Made 44 3-pointers and shot 79.7% from the foul line. Scored a season-high 37 points in a game against Northwest.

J.J. Walsh

School: Pittston Area

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

Led the Patriots in scoring with 13.4 points per game. Shot 68.4% from the foul line and made a team-best 39 3-pointers. Scored a season-high 32 points in a win over Holy Redeemer.

Ryan Petrosky

School: Crestwood

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Led the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game. Shot 62.5% from the free throw line. Scored a season-high 24 points in a win over Valley West. Will attend Bloomsburg University where he will play football.

Jacob Zaleski

School: Crestwood

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Was second on the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game. Scored a season-high 26 points in a district playoff victory over West Scranton. Solid all-around player on both ends of the floor.

Mike Zaleski

School: Crestwood

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Averaged 7.3 points per game. Finished the year with 11 3-pointers but was more effective shooting the ball from inside the arc or driving to the basket. Also asserted himself on the defensive end for the Comets.

Justice ShoatsSchool: Holy Redeemer

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

Was the leading scorer on the team, averaging 15.8 points per game. Did most of his scoring on drives to the basket after beating his defender off the dribble. Shot 72.1% from the foul line and made 11 3-pointers on the season.

Matt Prociak

School: Holy Redeemer

Year: Junior

Position: Forward

Finished the season averaging 14.7 points per game. Shot 72.4% from the foul line, and was second on the team in made 3-pointers with 21. Has the ability to play on the low block, as well as pop out and hit a jumper.

Max Paczewski

School: Lake-Lehman

Year: Senior

Position: Guard

Helped lead the Black Knights to the district semifinals. Led the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game. Shot a team-best 72% from the foul line. Also made 41 3-pointers, good enough to finish third overall in the WVC.

Ethan Meuser

School: Wyoming Seminary

Year: Senior

Position: Forward

A solid inside presence for the Blue Knights who occasionally drifted toward the perimeter on the offensive end. Averaged 16.9 points per game, and shot 80.8% from the foul line. Made 11 3-pointers on the season.

Nick Nocito

School: Dallas

Year: Junior

Position: Guard

Made 89 shots from the field this season with 39 coming from beyond the 3-point line. Shot 77.1% from the foul line and averaged 16.9 points per game, good for second best on the team. Scored a season-high 25 points in a win over Holy Redeemer.

Austin Finarelli

Dallas

Junior

Position: Guard

Led the team in scoring with 18.3 points per game. Did most of his scoring inside the arc, but still managed to make 14 3-pointers on the season. Was able to take his defender off the dribble and used it to his advantage as he attempted a team-best 92 free throws.
