Pitcher/infielder was 4-0 with a 1.83 ERA, 76 strikeouts and 41 hits allowed in 69 innings. Batted .345 with a team-high 25 RBIs, five doubles, three triples and one home run.

Danny Eden, Twin Valley, Sr.

Pitcher/outfielder was 4-3 with a 0.63 ERA, one save, 79 strikeouts and 32 hits allowed in 44.2 innings. Had 13 RBIs and three doubles.

Danny Estrada, Wilson, Sr.

Outfielder batted .409 with a team-high 28 runs and 16 stolen bases, 11 RBIs, five doubles, two triples, one home run and a .541 on-base percentage.

Luke Holman, Wilson, Sr.

Pitcher/designated hitter was 7-1 with a 0.88 ERA, 113 strikeouts and 23 hits allowed in 55.2 innings. Batted a team-high .426 with five doubles, five triples, two homers and 18 RBIs.

Reuben Livingston, Wilson, Jr.

First baseman batted .393 with seven doubles, one triple, six home runs, a team-high 25 RBIs, an .875 slugging percentage and a .532 on-base percentage.

Connor Maryniak, Gov. Mifflin, Sr.

Pitcher/shortstop was 13-0 with a 1.13 ERA, 147 strikeouts, 11 walks, eight complete games and four shutouts in 93 innings. Led team with a .393 average, 31 RBIs, nine doubles and four homers.

Tyler Minick, Gov. Mifflin, So.

Infielder/pitcher batted .376 with a team-high 28 runs, four triples and 20 stolen bases, and had 21 RBIs, seven doubles and one home run. Was 2-1 with a 0.98 ERA and one save in five appearances.

Jimmy Nunez, Wyomissing, Sr.

Catcher led Spartans with a .417 average, 30 RBIs, nine doubles, three triples and one home run. Had a .511 on-base percentage, 10 stolen bases and 11 assists.

Matt Passerini, Twin Valley, Sr.

Shortstop/pitcher batted a team-high .407 with a team-high 25 runs, 10 RBIs, two doubles, one triple, one home run and a .605 on-base percentage. Was 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA as a reliever.

Chase Renner, Brandywine Heights, Sr.

Pitcher/infielder was 5-1 with 0.60 ERA, 67 strikeouts, 20 walks and 10 hits allowed in 35 innings. Led Bullets with a .364 average and 16 RBIs.

Hunter Shuey, Hamburg, Sr.

Pitcher/outfielder was 6-3 with a 1.56 ERA, 123 strikeouts, 19 walks and 36 hits allowed in 58 innings. He struck out 19 against Brandywine and averaged 13.6 whiffs per start.

Chris Hole, Gov. Mifflin, coach

Guided the Mustangs to the Berks League championship for the third time in his nine seasons and to a District 3 title game for the third time in the last five seasons.

Player of the Year

Connor Maryniak, Gov. Mifflin

Gov. Mifflin senior Connor Maryniak, who led the Mustangs to the Berks League title and the District 3 Class 6A final, was voted the Berks Player of the Year by the league coaches.

Maryniak, a pitcher and a shortstop, went 13-0 on the mound with a 1.13 ERA, 147 strikeouts, 11 walks and 53 hits allowed in 93 innings. He also threw eight complete games and had shutouts against Lower Dauphin, Dallastown (no-hitter), Conrad Weiser and Brandywine Heights.

He was the winning pitcher in all three of Mifflin’s Berks playoff wins. In the district playoffs, he threw a five-hitter in a quarterfinal win over top-seeded Manheim Township and a four-hitter against Warwick in the semifinals

In the first round of the PIAA Tournament, Maryniak limited Emmaus to one run and four hits and struck out 13 in nine innings before the Mustangs fell 2-1 in 11 innings.

At the plate, he led the Mustangs with a .393 average, 31 RBIs, nine doubles and four home runs.
